Items Overview

  • Note > If you are dealing with multiple currency clients, then add item rates in all those currencies. When you are creating a new Invoice or Proposal for a client, the inserted rate will of the client's currency. In case there is no rate available in that currency, then 0 will be added.

  • Custom fields

1) Items refer to the product/services for which you are charging your clients.

 

How to access it?

 

 

Navigate to the Dashboard. Select Items from the menu. Click on + New item. Fill the necessary information and click on Save.
  • Item Name: Add the name of the service/ product you are offering to your client.

  • Unit: Here you can define the magnitude of the quantity.

  • Category: Here you can define the service/product you are offering to your client belongs to which division or class. for example, an item name is an SEO which belongs to the category of Digital marketing.

  • Price: Here you can select multiple currencies for the items by clicking on +Add one more and also add the amount of the service.

  • Description: Here, you can give a brief description of the service/product (for example Item name is on-page SEO in the description you can describe the features of on Page SEO such as is the practice of optimizing individual web pages in order to rank higher and earn more relevant traffic in search engines)

  • Custom field: Here you can add the additional details of your products which are not available in Clientjoy by default.

 

2) List view:

 

In List view, you can see all the items / Services listed and can perform a number of actions on it such as Update them, Operate Bulk action, and Find.

 

 

3) Edit/update an Item:

How to access it?

 

Navigate to Dashboard. Select the Item module. From the Item list choose an item and click on the ellipsis icon and select Update option from the list. once updated the information click on Save.

 

By editing/updating an item you can modify the previously created fields.

 

 

Multicurrency rates

If you are dealing in multiple currencies then you can manage them well.

 

 

Note: If you are dealing with multiple currency clients, then add item rates in all those currencies. When you are creating a new Invoice or Proposal for a client, the inserted rate will of the client's currency. In case there is no rate available in that currency, then 0 will be added.

 

4) Delete an Item:

How to access it?

 

Navigate to Dashboard. Select the Item module. From the Item list choose an item and click on the ellipsis icon and select Delete option from the list. Click Ok

 

Note: Deleting an item will make no changes on the sent invoice or proposal and on the invoices which are saved on draft.

 

5) Add Custom Fields

If you want to add additional information of your products/services, you can add them as custom fields.
