How to connect G-Suite as a custom email address?

If the service chosen is G-Suite for setting the custom email, then ensure the following steps have been performed in order to complete the email setup process seamlessly.

 

G-Suite email as a custom email address -

 

  1. Login to your Google Account with your G Suite account.

  2. Navigate to the admin dashboard here: https://admin.google.com.

  3. Click on 'Security'.

  4. Choose 'Basic settings'.

  5. Scroll down to 'Less secure apps'.

  6. Click on the 'Go to settings for less secure apps'.

  7. Select the option 'Allow users to manage their access to less secure apps'

  8. Once done with enabling less secure apps, create the app password.

  9. Post password generation, enable IMAP for your account.

  • On your computer, sign in to Gmail with your G Suite account.

  • In the top right, click 'Settings'.

  • At the top, click 'Forwarding and POP/IMAP'.

  • In the IMAP Access section, select 'Enable IMAP'. At the bottom, click 'Save Changes'.
