Why to use Document Templates?

  • When you love processes and perfections. No errors. Create templates.

  • You want to avoid silly mistakes of copy pasting, using old information, etc.

  • If there are more than 1 person who will be sending these documents then you don't want to managing and maintaining different copies of the Documents.

  • If your Offerings are Standard for most of your Leads / Clients.

  • If a lot of content of your Document is common and only a part of it changes.


How to create a new Document Template?

  • Navigate to Main navigation > Sales > Document Template

  • Click on New Template button

  • Create the template for your Quote, Agreement, Contract, Proposal or anything else.

  • Give a name to you template that can be unique and identifiable.

  • When you are making changes the Template is auto saving so you don't need to worry about it.

  • Save and exit it.

  • It will be available to all your team members to use.


How to create a Document Template from an existing Document?

  • Open the Document that you wish to add as Template.

  • Open it for updating.

  • In the top right corner you will see three dots.

  • You will find the option of "Save as Template" in it.
